A visually good restaurant, the prices are also very humane. Unfortunately no special requests are possible. There's definitely more to it. A pity:(

Very cozy. Tastes good. Everything just Corona.

We came to the pub without an appointment, so with oh and no we got a seat outside for 30 minutes. We ordered schnitzel with mushrooms and fries. Carelessly arranged no set or anything for the eye. And in terms of taste, frozen schnitzel from the deep fryer zero seasoning, a disappointed stay. The price was absolutely overpriced for such a lousy quality, like everywhere on the island.

We had two completely different experiences. A few days ago we went there to eat in the evening. The staff was moderately friendly and moderately attentive, the food was very tasty, the plates could have used a little more love while serving. That would have deserved 3 to 4 stars. Today we wanted to order and pick up what is well advertised on the website and should be possible until 9 p.m. At 6.45 p.m. we called and were turned away without further questions or friendly words with the words "Today we have a full house doing business like no one outside the home". Extremely unfriendly and very off-putting as far as we are concerned. In such cases, I would definitely recommend a friendlier Tom. A little "sorry and I'm sorry today because of the workload of the kitchen" would have been enough for us. We will definitely not stop there again.

We were in the old forge about 1 week ago. The food itself was very tasty and the price was okay, the drinks are unfortunately very overpriced! The smithy also offers a pick-up service, so we wanted to pick something up and were then turned away on the phone because they don't offer an out-of-home service today. On the grounds that "so much" is going on today. It is of course difficult to find an alternative so spontaneously in the more rural part of Usedom.

Great food, price-performance ratio, very comfortable

Unfortunately, we cannot agree with the positive opinions here, maybe we just came at an inconvenient time, because we were told that there would be no service in the beer garden after 6 p.m., because everything inside gets full and you can no longer make it. Time: 5.40 p.m. Nevertheless, we were allowed to order 2 schnitzel. Unfortunately these had no resemblance to the ones already shown here in some comments, loveless dressing with 4 croquettes and no trace of a set that would have embellished the picture a little. Sorry but in a restaurant I expect a little more. The plates somehow reminded me of my grandmother when we annoyed her on Sundays, but she still didn't want to starve us. As is well known, one can argue about taste, but for me it is processed far too far from any spice. Conclusion: still well served with one star and I give it for the staff, otherwise not to be recommended.

We come here at least once a year. Super nice staff and absolutely delicious dishes. Homemade must definitely be tried! The prices are absolutely fair! Thanks to the team for always welcoming us with open arms.

Here I was able to see for the first time the creative, creative gift people use to beautify their home. With such attention to detail, that is unique to me and I am impressed by the creative wealth of ideas. It exceeds everything I have experienced in my creative gifts. For me this is art. Apparently it affects the whole region, because in every village you can find new nice surprises. I want to praise them all and I'm looking forward to the ones I haven't seen yet.

Here you can relax very well after a hard day and eat very well. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, I will definitely be happy to come back here again.

The restaurant is in front of Mellenthin Castle. Many leave the restaurant on the left. Wrongly. The beautiful terrace and the cultivated ambience invite you to linger. The spa ribs were very good! Unfortunately not hot enough. If you don't want to visit Mellenthin Castle for the third time, you are in good hands here.

Friendly service, nice surroundings and good food at a reasonable price.

Restaurant advertises ice cream at the entrance. On the menu, however, only 2 different cups, neither of which tasted at all. There was only fruit and not the ice cream that was really on the menu. Coffee was already warm. At the next table someone tried the only cake and they said ... too dry and not tasty. Not recommendable! Prices too expensive for what you get.

It's really beautiful here. The accommodation was sufficiently spacious, clean and inviting for 2 people. WiFi was available across the entire site. The reception and the service in the restaurant was always friendly and courteous and the food was delicious. The beach can be reached within 15 minutes by car. The small town of Mellenthin invites you to take a walk and discover a lot. We are happy to come back here.

Good offer of food, blacksmith's bread to recommend, food very high priced, limited opening times, too bad in the season

Very nice and well arranged, friendly service. Food and drinks rather more expensive, despite lunchtime little visited. Not much choice of fish dishes - shrimp, matjes and halibut steak (with bread).
